CAPITAL SINS

I had posted this on facebook a few minutes ago, but I still want to share this to you. I was so bored that I took some random capital sins test. Instead of showing what your capital sin is, it shows how intense one's capital sins are. Apparently, this is the result:

When I posted this on facebook, everyone was too concentrated on lust. I WONDER WHY.

HAPPY EVENING :)

A HAD A DREAM~

I vaguely remember it but it sure was funny [for me].

Setting: De La Salle University

First Scene: Amphitheater
There were a bunch of people in the amphitheater that time. It was around 6pm or something - the sky was dark. It was Christmas in La Salle. Everyone was in their coats, scarves and bonnets. It was cold.

I met Rosanbel on one of the stone tables there. She was with her few friends, and apparently, a classmate of mine from majors classes approached us. They seem to know each other. Well, THEY KNEW EACH OTHER. The surprising thing was they were from the same high school.

While we were talking to each other, I suddenly realized that there was something wrong in the amphitheater - it was a foggy forest. Yep! A foggy forest inside La Salle and noticed my high school batch-mates having their physical training there [something like jogging].  Then I heard singing from somewhere and turned to the Marian Quadrangle.

Apparently, I saw this lady around late 30's to early 40's shouting at some people. I took a peek and saw that the Marian Quadrangle turned to a big pool. The lady was actually training these group of La Sallians in singing. She was shouting curses at them for their incompetence. I felt bad so I started an argument with Rosanbel saying that the trainer can't understand the situation. The water was on the mouth level, of course the students can't sing properly. But Rosanbel said that it was the students' fault. And for some weird reason, I walked away as soon as the "singing training" was finished.

Second Scene: The Central Plaza
I kept on hearing songs and saw that there were other singing groups. In the middle of the Central Plaza, I saw a fashion show. Apparently, a facebook friend of mine [a La Sallian] was one of the contestants. He was hot - I was drooling. After a few while, I walked towards Miguel

Third Scene: Miguel
The next thing I remembered was that I was on the fourth floor of Miguel. I saw one HTG member there [the one who played the role of Britney in Unang Ulan ng Mayo]. I wanted to talk to her but I was too shy. I walked down to the tambayan. In each staircase were OTHER singing groups - even some lower classmen from my high school were there. One of them teased me, so I choked him with my scarf O_O

Fourth Scene: Tambayan
I arrived in our tambayan. There was something wrong, there were only two stone tables available. The one near the grassy thingy, and the other was near the aircon. Ate Moe was seated on the latter table. She was with a white-cream siberian husky. I was like "OH MY GOSH! HOW DID YOU?!" She told me that the Administration of the University allowed her since it's part of her music class.

I then played with the dog, she was very gentle. But I got freaked out since the longer I stare on her, her face changes to a girl face D: Then Anya approached us and had a chat with us.

Ate Moe also revealed that there was actually a "chorale competition" later.

AND I WOKE UP.

[Honestly when I woke up, I was like "What the fuck was that about?!"]

Day One

TOP FIVE FAVORITE EXCUSES:
Before I put my top five, I realized one thing - that I make excuses a lot! AND I MEAN A LOT! Whether to go malling with my friends, or just to go to my Alma Mater, I make sure that I give excuses especially when my parents want me to stay at home and do household chores.

So here are my top 5 favorite excuses:
  1. When I go home later than my dismissal, I often say "Researching"
  2. When I spend too much from making gala with my friends or buying non-academic related things, I often use "I spent it on food"
  3. When I have a project [which I usually cram on], my parents always ask me if I'm done with it. My usual answer is "It's almost done" even if I just typed my name.
  4. When I stay late at night [during school days], I often tell my mom that "It's school related" even if I'm just reading manga; AND
  5. When I'm too lazy to wash the dishes after dinner, I often say "I'm too busy in schoolwork, so I'll pass." - I really intend to do schoolwork, but I end up reading manga [ONLY APPLICABLE IN SCHOOLDAYS]
Happy day! :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

Nico Nico (Chorus)

Tonight, while drawing, reading manga, and checking my blog, I'm watching random Nico Nico Chorus songs. I passed by Love is War, Servant of Evil, Just Be Friends, etc.

Apparently, the name Nico Nico Chorus reminded me of a member of our school's theater group. For some weird reason, I somehow like that guy. By the way, his nickname [if I'm not wrong] is Nico - that's why Nico Nico Chorus kinda reminds me of him.

I, personally, like his eyes - and probably, just his eyes.I found him so "ooh la la~" before I've seen him personally. He was part of the recently shown Unang Ulan ng Mayo and I was extremely excited to be able to see him in person. BUT expectations are really different from reality. I expected him to have a sexy hot voice, but nah! He sounded more or less like a boy in his developing years. But that was kinda cute!

Anyway, that's all for this entry. Happy evening :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

I will be posting my message for everyone here in blogspot

I mean for everyone who I can't connect through facebook or through text. I'll also probably send a private message to each of you :)

Happy night :)

I HAVE PLANS FOR MY FUTURE - I won't I can do it

SO! I had posted this in my facebook account, but I feel like sharing this to you :)

I have been thinking of my future plans [as the title of this entry states] and I came up with four goals.

1.) Graduate in the age of 19
2.) As much as possible, have a work soon after I graduate [I want to do this to avoid laziness, since I'm a lazy-ass person]
3.) After a year of work, I'll take Clinical Psychology while working [yep! A part time student]
4.)Well, this one's optional: I'll have a part time job while doing number 3 <3 <3

I'll probably retire on my 60th year, but I'll make sure that my every hardship will bear fruit.

That's all! Happy evening :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

What's better?

Well, I changed the layout of my page [more or less just the background]. Is the current design fine or the simpler design works better? Your opinions are very much appreciated. :) Thanks :) Happy night :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

POST-MANGA HANG-OVER: Karneval

I just stopped reading Karneval, a fantasy-adventure manga. The story was not that bad, nor that good - but it sure is catchy. Anyway, I'll proceed reading it tomorrow <3

I have a new anime crush that came from this manga. His name is Gareki <3 There is something about him that can make me go "kyah!" HAHAHA

Happy evening :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

Remembering sumfin'

I have been saying this for x number of times, but I really want to join our school's theater group. There has been an internal conflict going on whether I should join next year or not. And as I write this entry, I'm weighing down my feelings and try my best to make a conclusion.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
1. I love the theater
2. I want to make more friends
3. I want to wear make up
4. I believe that acting can somehow relax me
5. I want to be someone else through acting

WHY SHOULDN'T I JOIN?
1. I don't have ANY acting experience
2. I lack self-confidence
3. My parents will surely disapprove of my decision
4. Stress(?)
5. I should be contented on being a reviewer

SO what should I do? Internal conflict is hurting me so much >.< Anyway, happy night :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

Fantasy/Adventure Appreciation Day

So I started this day by waking up and eating breakfast. Follow by watching Nanny McPhee in HBO and washing the dishes. After sweeping the floor, I turned the computer on and decided to read some manga. I continued reading Gokusen, then Angel's Doubt [or probably vice versa].

Anyway, I got bored and decided to read some fantasy manga. Can you suggest some good manga? [aside from Pandora Hearts, Dragon Ball, Full Metal Alchemist, Fairy Tail and D. Gray Man] Please suggest manga which are drawn well, since I feel like drawing sometime this day.

Your suggestions will be very much appreciated. Happy day :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

Oh yeah!

I suddenly remembered. Angie told us to make a profile of our other selves in the parallel world. Apparently, I still can't think of anything. HAHAHA. Happy day :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

OMG! For real?!

Apparently, I was surfing facebook until I saw my friend's post. IT'S A MOVIE TRAILER OF RUROUNI KENSHIN!!! AND IT'S IN LIVE ACTION!!! <3 <3 <3 Here, check it out!

Jun Matsumoto Appreciation Night

Everyone is familiar with Mr. Jun Matsumoto, right? He's Shin Sawada in Gokusen, and Domyoji in Hana Yori Dango.

Anyway, I started this appreciation night because I'm currently reading Gokusen, and I suddenly remembered him. I first watched its tv series before reading the manga.

OK. So Jun Matsumoto is an epitome of hotness and cuteness. He's not the buff-type of guy, but he sure is hot. I mean, his smile can make any girl melt - complete cuteness <3 <3 <3 He has this girly-innocent face that is very attractive, and at times, is kinda evil-ish. Another thing that made him very attractive is his eyes. They have an incomprehensible sparkle and beauty. It's as if looking through his eyes can make you travel in another mysterious world. AND HIS LIPS! They look extremely soft and, please excuse my manner, tasty.

Because this is an appreciation night, I'll be posting pictures of him.

Please note that I do not own any of these pictures.

Well, because I'm somehow done fangirl-ing, I'll end this post. Happy night everyone :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

Maniac Me

As the title of this post indicates, I have my own mania [which I hope can be cured]. I love eyeballs, hair, scissors and blood. I am a semi-normal student, but wait! I don't want to be labeled as "normal" in the first place. For the time being, I am starting to be fond of admiring people's necks and skin to the point of having the urge to bite them. HEY IT'S ME! THIS IS SO ME!

Anyway, I'll be having an exam tomorrow - and it'll be my last exam. Wish me luck!!!

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

PS (Post Script??)

Whenever I'll be posting photos of my drawings, please don't expect high quality. We don't have any scanner YET [I'm planning to buy one, sooner] so I'm using either my phone's camera or my mom's digital camera. So yep, I'm sorry.

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

Dear Gretl,

Yes. Her name is Gretl. For some weird reason, I felt like giving her that name. She is my product of senseless imagination, where black and white are real colors. She is inspired from the Norse goddess Skuld - who holds the future of each individual [that's as far as i know] Her weapon is a giant pair of scissors, which symbolizes the end.

Here is her photo:
Gretl with her scissors

Name: Gretl [no surname available]
Age: 20
Favorite color: Red & Black
Favorite item: scissors

PS: I love her stockings @_@

I'll be doing the second layer later (or whenever I feel like it) :"> Anyway, I have to go now. It's already 2 in the morning and I have to have my sleep already, since I have an exam later this 10am. Good night everyone :)

JUST NOW

Well, I was surfing the net - and I mean facebook. Apparently, I saw my old crush's photo and I unconsciously stared at his lips. They were tempting. Oh gosh, am I becoming a pervert?

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

I just had an awkward moment last night

Apparently, I told some random college-mate that I like his name. YES! JUST his name. It's not that I don't like him as a person, actually, I think he's hot. But i don't know what any topic to use to be able to talk to him so I thought of using his name as a topic. I had a tinsy-winsy lovely time chatting with him, and yes. I mean CHAT since I did that in facebook.

Happy days and smile a lot!

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

This Week is a Blessing

Apparently, this week really is a blessing. Yes, there are ups and downs but this week is extremely lovely. I got good news and did good stuff which cleared my mind.

  1. I got 3.5 in PSYSTA1 (Psychological Statistics 1) as my final grade. 3.5 is the second highest grade that a student in our school can get in each subject; if I'm not wrong, my grade was something like 93.5% or 95.3% out of a hundred. AND this is one of my major subjects in my course. To be honest, I did not have much of a hard time with this subject, good thing effort bore fruits of success.
  2. I got 2.0 in my THEOPER (Theories of Personalities) class as my pre-final grade. My equivalent raw grade was something like 80.5% out of a hundred. This is way more challenging than PSYSTA1 (I'm not bragging) and am still satisfied with the pre-result <3
  3. I JUST FINISHED MY BIOPSYC (Biological Psychology) final paper! <3 <3 <3 It only took me 2 nights to finish it.
  4. I don't have to study much, since I only have two final exams. One is in INTGLOS (Introduction to Global Society) which is kinda "NAH!" since it's a minor subject. My other exam is in THEOPER [and it'll be on the 15th!]
  5. CHRISTMAS PARTY <3 <3 <3
  6. I think I can apply the things I know in my major classes in real life. It makes me feel so proud since I knew that I learned something.

To obtain happiness, I just have to look at the brighter side of life :">

PREVIEW: Bahaghari

"Anak, hindi ka bakla. Akala mo lang 'yun. Confused ka lang."
Ito ang laging sinasabi sa akin ng aking mudra. Paulit-ulit na lang na ganito ang kanyang line everytime I tell her a story about my gay friends (SHET! Ang kabog kong mag-English!). Ayaw niya akong tigilan. Hindi ko alam kung homophobic ba siya, o naiinggit lang sa akin kasi mas maganda ako sa kanya (JOKE! Syempre mas maganda ang aking mudrakels).

Ay! Bago ko nga pala makalimutan. Ako nga pala si Teodoro Bonifacio, but you can all call me Thea.

***

I am currently planning to write a fiction story about the life of a homosexual. I was inspired after watching Unang Ulang ng Mayo for four times. The story's title is Bahaghari, which is "Rainbow" in English. I would like to show how colorful a homosexual's life is.

Bahaghari is a story about Teodoro "Thea" Bonifacio, a college student who fell in love with his homophobic classmate. Will his feelings reach his crush's heart?

I know that the general plot is extremely cliche and cheesy, but I'll try my best to add elements to make it unique. I'll probably get ideas from my life, as a homosexual college student. I don't know whether to put "sexual" scenes in this story, since I have no idea how to write those scenes. Anyway, the statements above [those in italics] are part of the short introduction in the story.

Wish me luck :)

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

POST-MANGA HANG-OVER: Faster than a Kiss

Rating: 7.5/10
Status: Ongoing

Plot:
Losing their parents, Fumiko and her brother hop from one relative to another. Getting tired of all those movings, she finally decides to quit school and work to support her brother on her own. As they sat on a park bench, her teacher appears in front of her and agrees to her demanding of marrying and supporting both her and her brother. Is he serious or just playing around...

Orphaned siblings Fumino Kaji and little Teppei had to move from relative to relative until Fumino's 24-year old teacher Kazuma Ojiro takes them in to his place. Kazuma agrees to take full responsibility of them, including having to marry 16-year old Fumino, for Teppei's sake. [Source: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=9151 ]

***

YES! This is still a shoujo manga. And if a shoujo manga is not magic-inclined, it is romantic. Apparently, as what the plot states, it is a romance-shoujo manga. I find it a bit cliche, but not cliche.

I mean the idea of having "a relationship that shouldn't be discovered by anyone else" can be common-ish. The situation is kind of the same with the classic "Romeo and Juliet" by yours truly, William Shakespeare. BUT it's also unique in it's own ways like "orphaned girl and her brother, adopted by a teacher."

There are things that make Faster than a Kiss stand out. It's a must read for people who want to laugh and love [both at the same time]

I'm back

At last! I am able to finish my final paper. I'm so happy. :')

Next is CITIGOV (Citizenship and Government) and CRITHIN (Critical Thinking) papers. I CAN DO THIS!

XOXO,
Jeffrey <3

POST-MANGA HANG-OVER: Cat Street

Rating: 6.5/10

Plot:
The story revolves around Keiko Aoyama, who used to be a famous child actress. After a great shock that happened during a stage play, she isolates herself from others. Her life changed when she met the principal of a "free school", named El Liston. It was a school for people with social problems. There she met her new friends Rei, Kouichi and Momiji.

***
The story line is uncommon - it did not concentrate in love compared to other shoujo manga. It does not contain very strong emotion, yet it was able to convey its message. It is a must read whenever you feel down, since it can inspire the reader and push through life.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

I'll be leaving for a short while. I have to finish my final paper in one of my major subjects. See you again soon :)

POST-MOVIE HANG-OVER: 13 Ghosts

My Rating: 5.5/10

I have watched this movie a couple of times. 13 Ghosts is a 2001 film directed by Steve Beck (he also directed the movie Ghost Ship). (source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245674/)

The story is about Arthur Kriticos, whose wife died because of a fire accident. Six months after the said incident, he was notified that his uncle - Cyrus Kriticos, gave him his house as part of his last will.

Apparently, his "new" house contained all the ghosts that Cyrus collected with the help of Dennis Rafkin, a psychic. As they got in the house, ghosts were released from their cells one-by-one.

***

To be honest, I consider this more of a thriller than a horror movie. It was not scary, in the first place. The suspense parts made my hands cold (which is a good sign that a thriller/horror movie is actually interesting and effective). The make-up was also well done. The house's design can really be considered a modern piece of art. The actors did great in portraying their characters.

The only thing that I did not like was that it seemed to lack more suspense and story - but I guess doing that will only ruin the essence of the movie.

In conclusion, if you want to give yourself a little scare, it won't hurt to watch this movie.

POST-PLAY HANG-OVER: Unang Ulan ng Mayo

It [this hang-over] started a week ago. I was invited to watch a play that was cast by our university's theater group (since I am their critique-wait, is "reviewer" a better term?). Well, wait. I don't know whether to call it invitation or a requirement. The story was written by Palanca awardee JIE Teodoro.

This story is about Victor, a young man who was afflicted with polio during his younger days. One day he met Efren, his father's "godson". Slowly, Victor fell head over heels with Efren and twists happen.

I can probably say that this story is close to me. I am not a relative of the author, neither am I a part of the casting. It is close to me since it is a story about homosexuality and paternal society.

Oh! Haven't I told you? I'm a homosexual [or probably that is what I was thinking. I am actually confused where I am between homosexual and bisexual]. Anyway, back to the play. It showed me hope - that people like me can still have a romantic life, even for a short while.

The play was well done; and apparently, my friend from the theater group told me that they only had two weeks of preparation. I was completely impressed on how they were able to perform elegantly and do the stage quickly, despite the short span of time. Some casts need improvement in their acting, which can be enhanced through workshops and practice. I HAVE FAITH IN THEM! *heart*

PS: Because of the impact of this play, I'm able to memorize some lines AND I can still see each scene crystal clear!

PS (Post Script??)

I'll also be using Filipino in my blog. Please expect Filipino, English and probably Taglish (a combination of Tagalog and English) in my posts.

ENJOY!

This is my first post. POST!

This is the nth blog that I made in my entire life. This probably is the 5th(?). I am such a mess in the cyber world, I tell you. I am more on the traditional way of expressing myself - through drawing, singing and, at times, writing.

Anyway, let me give you a quick introduction about the author of this blog. My name is Jeffrey, and I'm a Filipino. I am currently a college student taking up Psychology. YES! I'm a proud Psychology student!

I LOVE DIFFERENT CULTURES. Understanding other's culture helps me understand people more. By culture, I mean art. I always try to associate my everyday life with art. I make sure that I won't miss singing and drawing even once! To tell you the truth, my favorite singing stage is our bathroom since I feel like I am in a different world!

My favorite culture, of course, is the Filipino culture. Frankly speaking, I myself am not extremely familiar with ALL the existing culture in our country. YES! You read it right. Our country, the Philippines - the Pearl of the Orient, as others call it - is a compilation of different different groups of people, different lives and different cultures. There are more things to be discovered in our mysterious land. Despite the dirt, smoke and danger that lingers in the cities, beyond reality lies a dream land - a paradise. YES! Our country also has paradise.

I don't have much imagination, as others claim. I'm an average college student aiming to achieve his goals and reach the star of his dreams.

Please allow me to end this essay with a short essay:

What is Life for Me?

First thing's first. Imagine that you are in a classroom and I am your teacher. I give each one of you a piece of white paper. I won't be giving any instruction on what to do with it. It's all up to you. Just do what you wanted to do with it. So, what'll you do? Will you throw it away? Will you make an origami? Will you draw on it? Or maybe write some things? Probably your strong emotions. Are you angry? Are you sad? Are you happy? Why is it?

You can probably guess my simile to life now, can't you? If you haven't, here I'll tell you. Life for me is like that piece of white paper - no dirt, no stain, all pure white. Each one of us does have a piece of paper - life. Our life is the result of our acts. If you wanted to give significance to the "piece of paper", you'll do hard to make it beautiful. And if you don't care on what'll happen, you'll just leave it be and wait for someone else to do it for you.

What I'm trying to say is that you have to exert effort if you're really willing to achieve happiness and obtain satisfaction in life. To be able to do this, one has to try different things. DON'T BE AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES! As what others say, "Live your life to the fullest!"
